Chicken Biryani

INGREDIENTS

-4 chicken breasts
- 1 onion, chopped (I use ready chopped frozen stuff)
- Curry powder
- 350g rice
- 700ml chicken stock
- A handful of peas

METHOD

  1. Fry the chicken until golden all over

  2. Add the onion and cook until soft

  3. Add the curry powder (I use 1 tbsp of mild as the boys don’t like spice, but use as much and what ever level that you like) stir in the rice and add the stock.

  4. Bring to the boil then cover and put in an oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

  5. Stir in the peas and stand for about 2 minutes until they’re cooked.
